• Eastover OB/GYN will be at Race for the Cure on October 2, 2010, join our team or stop by our booth at the race to meet our physicians and staff.

• At any age, regardless of your physical condition, proper nutrition is vital for maintaining your health.  Eastover is excited to offer nutritional counseling by a registered dietician who can provide assistance on items such as:

1.       Maternal Nutrition: Healthy eating guidance during pregnancy and lactation to meet individual nutrition goals; Menu planning during pregnancy; Tips for weight management; Vegetarian diet.

2.       Women's Health: healthy eating guidelines, Food and Mood, Weight Management, Osteoporosis and Nutrition during Menopause

Ask any member of our staff for more information about our nutritional counseling services.

• To better serve our patients, we now offer bone density testing at our Morehead Medical Plaza location. Testing takes less than 15 minutes and can be scheduled on the same day as your annual exam. Talk to your healthcare provider to determine if this test is appropriate for you.
  
• After many years of service at Eastover OB/GYN, Dr. E. Carl Fisher, Sr. retired on June 30, 2009.  We will miss him greatly and wish him the best as he enjoys his retirement.  Former and current patients of Dr. Fisher are welcome to schedule their next appointment with any of the physicians at our three locations.
  

About Us

Eastover OB/GYN has a tradition of caring for the healthcare needs of women in the Charlotte region. We offer a staff of 11 physicians and one nurse practitioner who are available in three convenient locations: at the Arboretum in South Charlotte, in Indian Trail at Union West Medical Plaza and at our Myers Park office on Morehead Medical Drive.

Our physicians have the privilage of delivering babies at Carolina Medical Center where familes recieve an entire range of maternal and infant medical care on one campus, including neonatal, post-partum and intensive care for infants. The award-winning and highly acclaimed Levine Children's Hospital is located on the same campus, allowing mother and baby to receive the best medical care in the region without being transferred to another facility.
