Dr. Whitten was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. In 1988, she completed her bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from the University of Georgia and completed her MD degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1993. Dr. Whitten completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center in 1997.
After completing her residency, Dr. Whitten joined Eastover OB/GYN in the summer of 1997. Charlotte is now home for Dr. Whitten and her family.
When Dr. Whitten is away from work, she enjoys spending time with her sons and husband. She also enjoys exercising, traveling, and reading.
Dr. Whitten is a member of the Southeastern Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
