Dr. Whitten was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. In 1988, she received her BS in Biochemistry from the University of Georgia. She received her MD degree in 1993 from the Medical College of Georgia. In 1997, Dr. Whitten completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
After completing her residency, Dr Whitten joined Eastover OB/GYN in the summer of 1997.
When Dr. Whitten is away from work, she enjoys spending time with her sons and husband. She also enjoys exercising, traveling and reading.
Dr. Whitten is a member of the Southeastern Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
