Dr. Nicholson was born in Winston-Salem, but grew up in Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland where he received an undergraduate degree in zoology. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Maryland. He completed his residency training at Providence Hospital, Georgetown University affiliate, Washington, D.C. He is married to Lynn, his wife of 26 years and they have two children. He loves doing things with family and friends and loves sports, especially basketball and football. He is dedicated to his church and enjoys church activities. He enjoys tinkering around the house and being with friends.
Dr. Nicholson is a board-certified OB/GYN. He is a member of North Carolina Medical Society and the Mecklenburg Medical Society. He is actively involved with Carolinas Medical Center OB/GYN Resident Training Teaching Staff.
