Dr. Jain is a native of Irvington, N.Y. After receiving her degree in Neuroscience at Brown University (ScB, 1989), she attended Vanderbilt University (MD, 1993). Discovering a true love for the South, Dr. Jain moved to Charlotte to perform her OB/GYN residency training at Carolinas Medical Center. In 1997, she joined Eastover OB/GYN where she has established her primary practice at the Arboretum office.
While providing all levels of care for women, Dr. Jain has a special interest in adolescent gynecology, contraception, and sexually transmitted diseases, preconceptual health and fertility, lactation, and postpartum depression. Dr. Jain has been very involved in the medical community. She has served as the Vice Chief of the OB/GYN department at Carolinas Medical Center and the Chair of the department's Quality Assurance Committee in the past; she now gives lectures to adolescents on puberty, abstinence, contraception, and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases in many area schools and churches. She also lectures to the medical community on the management and treatment of depression in women and genital herpes and other sexually transmitted diseases.
Personally, Dr. Jain's main passion is her amazing daughter. She thrives on spending time with her and her family, and friends, doing anything and everything outdoors including traveling, enjoying fine wine and dining, gardening, home decorating, and Panthers football.
